Tips For Making The Best Homemade French Fries

Every body love french fries.I recently started making my own fries and here is some of my homemade french fries tips.

Have you ever wondered why when you try to make French fries it doesn’t always come out the way you would like it to all the time. Every time you make them it always comes out mushy. For the best results try this method after you have finished cutting up the potatoes soak them into a bowl of ice cold water and leave it into the refrigerator for at least an hour.

This will harden the potatoes so that they won’t absorb too much fat. Make sure that they are thoroughly dry before frying and then fry them twice. First, cook them for about 6-7 minutes, then drain them well, and sprinkle them afterwards, lightly with flour this step will make them extra crispy and crunchy. Then fry them again for about 1 to 3 minutes more until golden brown.

Making homemade potatoes chips
Salt homemade potatoes chips by using a zip lock plastic bag. If you are preparing about five small potatoes put one teaspoon salt into the bag first before putting in the potatoes and then shake well. This way the salt will evenly spread into the potatoes and the paper absorbs the excess grease, decrease calories whenever you can!
